Marriott Dallas Uptown

Honest disclaimer: as a Director of Front Office for a JW Marriott, I’m a stickler for certain things when I travel. Staff service and cleanliness are always my top two priorities and Marriott Dallas Uptown is doing exceptionally well with both. Jasmine was very pleasant at check-in. Even when a guest began giving her a hard time because he couldn’t print something, she and Cody handled the situation with absolute grace and professionalism. The hallways smelled great, there was no trash in the elevators, and my room was spotless and very comfortable. On the second morning of my stay, I called down to request something and Ms. Toni answered the phone. She immediately brightened my entire day! She is truly one of the kindest souls I’ve ever encountered, and she absolutely embodies the Marriott standard of “speaking with a smile in your voice.” This was my first time staying here, and it definitely won’t be my last. Highly recommend!

This was probably one of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail was amazing with great facilities and friendly staff. There was only two tiny things I could fault which is amazing. 1) the balcony glass at the pool should be cleaned 2) Bending down for the room key activation in the elevator every time. I’ve never experienced a hotel where I didn’t at least have a couple of genuine complaints. Loved the beds, the tv remote and apps, the city view, the gym and pool facilities and the multiple ice and water machines. Very clean and helpful staff.

Came for hubby’s birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautifully decorated and staff were really sweet! HUGE shout out to Andre for going above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Thank you so much!

I reserved this hotel for a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday (late december 2025). The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location, which is walkable to many of the top notch, restaurants, and bars in the uptown Dallas area. The room was clean and odor free, and the bed was very comfortable, and the linens were soft and inviting. The bathroom was ample size and shower had great water pressure. We did have drinks at the bar and an appetizer at the local on site restaurant, good graces, and sat outside in the outdoor patio. Fortunately, the weather was extremely warm (December in Texas), which made for a nice evening on the patio. The staff, everyone we encountered, was extremely welcoming and friendly. On our first night, we returned to our room to find a beautifully plated slice of chocolate cake that said happy birthday, a signed birthday card, and a lovely small floral arrangement all for my wife. I had not requested this, so this was a really nice surprise from the hotel. Our stay included access to the club lounge, which was also excellent. The daily breakfast was amazing and had a variety of breakfast selections, from eggs, bacon, sausage to fresh fruit, and yogurt, parfaits, cereals, oatmeal….. everything was delicious and fresh. Their coffee machine made lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, many coffee drinks you would expect at a coffee house. The machine did have some issues at first, but it was quickly resolved. While the machine was out of service, the club concierge offered to make me a latte, and it was delicious. We did not use the pool but it is heated and many people were enjoying it. Overall, this is an excellent hotel, excellent location and the staff is amazing. We will definitely return and stay with access to the club lounge.

Kathy at the M Club during breakfast on New Year’s Day was absolutely outstanding. The entire restaurant was completely packed, yet she remained calm, professional, and genuinely attentive to every guest. She went out of her way to personally check on everyone, making sure no one felt overlooked despite the rush. What truly impressed me was her kindness and initiative — even when items were running low, she made the effort to find extra eggs for guests, including myself. That level of care and dedication is rare, especially on a busy holiday morning. Kathy represents top-tier customer service and truly elevates the M Club experience. I couldn’t stop thinking about how exceptional she was, which is why I felt compelled to write this review. Marriott is lucky to have her — she’s a true asset to the brand.

I truly couldn't say more good things about our stay here, from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with each interaction. Room service was awesome and reasonable. The good graces restaurant was delicious for all meals. The pool was perfect, everything was clean. Wouldn't think twice before recommending this to someone, allowed us to really relax. Also decor and architecture was a plus as well. Thank you marriot team we will be back!

Had a great time. Room was very nice and spacious. Front desk staff was so nice and friendly. Elevators were on the blink and not secure with key card. Only food was order from the bar and extremely pricy. We walked around the neighborhood. Had an excellent dinner at Doce Mesas around the corner. We do plan on visiting again when we are in town.

It’s perfect for a basic Marriott! Great hotel. Very clean and good service. Starbucks on site. Good bar. No convenience items area/shop that many Marriott's have. Bottled water had to be brought by room service instead of purchasing it at the frost desk.
